I need help!! i lost my cd for my skype logitech webcam and i tried several things. i tried downloading stuff to see if it will work on other websites. u r my only last hope can u please help me!! i jus bought this webcam and i cannot find my cd how to i go about fixing this??
You should be able to download any software you need to get your webcam up and running by going to:
Find your webcam model and download the software. Everything should be fine from that point on. If it really doesn't work, you can probably contact Logitech and have them send you a replacement CD.

1)Ok, if drivers are the only thing you're missing, go to www.logitech.com, then at the top of the screen go to "support" then click on "downloads" and then use the search tools to locate your webcam model and it should allow you to download the original driver.
2)If you would rather have a physical version, if you purchased the webcam from a large retailer, call the store, and explain your situation. They may be able to burn a duplicate CD/DVD for free or a very minimal change. I'm pretty sure logitech provides the same service, but you'll have a longer wait as they'll send the CD/DVD by mail.
I hope that helps

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

Tips for a great answer:

1. Check that your webcam is switched on and plugged into your computer
2. A webcam can only be used by one application at a time, so make sure you don't have any other applications open that are accessing the webcam, e.g. other instant messaging applications or even some websites.
3. Problems with video are often caused by driver issues. A driver is the program you install with the webcam which makes the webcam work with your computer (some webcams use preinstalled drivers so you may not have had to install one). Make sure you have the latest driver installed. You can download and install the most recent drivers from the webcam manufacturer's website.
To test your webcam go to the Skype menu > Preferences > Video and tick the box Enable Skype Video. When Skype is able to use your webcam, you will see a video preview of yourself.
