Question about Jenn-Air JED8430 Electric Cooktop
The knob for the blower wont pop up. I have removed this old knob and when I look down into the space where it was there is nothing below it. I found a nut that may have attached to something as well. When the knob was in place my wife could use her index and middle fingers using her nails to turn it off and on. This is clearly not the way it should work. Getting below the fan control knob and into the main unit seems very hard. Not sure what to do?
Are you up for the job? you may need a new switch.(Part # 74009254)the origal switch is nla but this switch should work. If you attemp changing yourself make sure you turn off the circuit breaker to the range,
