Question about Nintendo Pokemon Silver
Sounds like your game's internal battery is dead, not too hard to fix. Just search Google for replacing Pokemon silver battery and you should find heaps of info about it. If you do I would recommend using a new battery and not one from another game (I used one from another game and it died in about 3 weeks).
Unfortunately you will have to start your game again :(.
Hope this helps.

Is this a used game? If it is, you may need to take it back to the store you bought the used game and tell the worker your problem.
