You need to install the software that came with it to your computer. connect the usb cable from the camera to the computer and it will automatically detect the camera thus transferring the videos from it to your computer.

When I try to turn on my FinePix A600 is beeps, the lens comes out, the light on the back flashes yellow, then it flashes red, the lens goes back in and the camera turns off. I bought a second FinePix...

I'm curious....the camera came out in 2006....how did you buy a second one?...and more importantly, why? If something doesn't work, the first thing people do isn't to go out and buy another one. Anyway, from your description, the problem seems to lie with the cards, not the camera. All memory cards must be formatted (sometimes called "initialized") in the camera before use and regularly after downloading the pics to the computer. This erases the card and brings it back to original condition so download any pics you want to save using a separate cardreader if necessary and then, format/initialize them in the camera. Also, how old are these cards?....they don't last forever.

Finepix a600, in memory full, won't take photos

Connect it to your PC, using the USB cable provided.

Click on my computer, you should see another HDD drive appear, it may be called Fuji or mass storage device.

Double click on that, you'll see folder, double click on that you should see the pictures stored on the internal memory of your camera.

Fujifilm finepix F47fd my movie has been stored

Connect the camera to your computer, without a memory card inserted.
Transfer the movie to the computer. After this is done, you format the camera using the Setup menu. Then you will have cleared the internal memory. Before formatting, check that the movie has been transfered the computer.

Finepix a600

There is a possible solution but try at your own risk:

Give the camera a few bumps to help it release the lens. Bump into a soft surface, like your hand or a towel.

CARD NOT INITIALIZED.

You will have to format it. Keep it in the camera and go through the manual's instructions for doing this, sorry but this sometimes happens.

Finepix a600 not recognized

Remove the camera software entirely. Assuming you PC is 2000/XP no camera software or driver is required. It should simply come up as a new drive in My Computer Come back on this one
