Read through the following link for advice on overflow problem with a washer:

http://www.fixya.com/support/r762094-washer_overflows

A good majority of the problems I experienced in the field were caused by a simple loose air hose. Start by checking to make sure the air hose is still attached to the pressure switch. If the air hose is intact and NOT leaking, check the electrical connections to the switch for corrosion and or broken/loose wires. If all preliminary indications are good, replace the pressure switch. Read throught the link provided, thoroughly, and let me know if you require addtional assistance. I hope this helps you.

Washing machine doesn't stop after time allocated

Possible suspect of the inlet flow, the pressure sensor or the program controller.

If the water flows though the inlet then the flow pressure should be good, if not the inlet valve is bad or there is dirt in the filter. Also check the flow at the inlet of the water line. Once the water comes into the system the WATER LEVEL SENSOR - normally a pressure switch- must activate at the preset/chosen level to give the signal to the program controller to switch on the motor. What is most important for the motor to start functioning is that the door switch must be ON when the door is shut or this will be an error for starting the motor for rinse and wash.

Doesn't fill

Possible that the water level sensor is faulty as it tends to indicate before the level has reached thereby starting the rinse cycle.
Usually this can be due to faulty level settings or fault in the pressure switch as it can be acting too fast. It will be best to clean the inlet valve and check the flow , test the water level sensor and see if this works by blowing into the diaphragm.

When my LG is washing sometimes the FE codes comes up, what does this mean? How can I fix this issue?

Hi,

This means that the washer is overflowing. This is a built in fault that turns on the drain pump so that the water doesn't get so high that it gets into the floor. If water is continually flowing into the washer you will get this problem. If this is the case the water valve is most likely the problem. To confirm unplug the washer and if the water doesn't stop flowing into the washer the water valve is the problem.

If water isn't continually running into the washer then the problem can be the water level control.

Wash machine will not stop filling/no matter what setting the level is set.it will spin out. How do I fix this. It is an admiral capacity plus. model # LNC6760B71 serial # 20672581CL

Most probably an inlet valve fault. Could be the water level sensor hose has diconnected, or the drain hose is too low, and is allowing water to flow through into the drain.....Check drain hose......If water flow is not stopped when you unplug the machine, it's probably a valve.....Not a big job........Good luck......Nomess

Cold water does not stop at set levels. Too much flow.

Blockage in pressure bottle or small hole in pressure bottle tube.

Water dose ot stop when washer is full. It continues to run.

If you disconnected power and water still flowed, replace the water valve. If water stopped flowing when power was disconnected, clean out tube from tub to water level switch.
