Run Leawo iTransfer and connect iPod to computer with the USB cable. The software will automatically detect your iPod and show your iPod libraries in the left sidebar.

2. Click "Music" and the songs will display in the right part of the window. Click the transfer button (right arrow in a dark blue rectangle) to extract all the songs from iPod. Or hold "Ctrl" key and click to choose songs, and then right-click the chosen songs to "Transfer to > My Computer".

3. After choosing files, the dialog of transfer settings will pop up. Check "Transfer to List: iTunes" and "Save to Folder", and then click the "Change" button to choose a folder on your computer to save the songs. Click "Transfer Now" at the right bottom of the dialog to start extracting music from iPod.

4. When the transfer process is going on, please don't disconnect the iPod. The dialog of transfer process will show up and a progress bar will show you the percentage of the process. You'll get the music files in the target folder and iTunes Music Library.

And if you need to transfer music between iPods, then you can check out this article:https://www.leawo.org/tutorial/how-to-transfer-music-from-old-ipod-to-new-ipod.html?=1400

How do I delete songs

More info please. Without it I offer this.

Have your iTunes on your computer. Open iTunes and update your music. i.e. delete the songs you wish to delete. Then set your iTunes to sync to your iPod (make sure you don't have it set to sync the other way). With iTunes open, plug your iPod into a USB port and the computer should sync back to the iPod and mirror your iTunes files.

How to sync my i pod classic in i tunes

Hello, friend. If you are running iTunes below version 11, I can help you. Open iTunes and plug in your iPod. On the left hand side there should be your iPod name, go to your iTunes playlist and drag the songs you want to your iPod. For all of the songs, go to your iPod music library, even if you don't have songs, and on the bottom there should be a blue-ish bar. There might be a box saying "Autofill from iTunes library" click that ONLY if you want ALL songs from your iTunes to your iPod.
Or You may try this ipod transfer, it's a nice iTunes alternative that can help you manage iPod files including delete, upload, play, copy, etc. It's much easier to use than iTunes.

Ipod 16gb 1st generation, how do i update to 3.0 software

Hello,

follow this steps to delete music on your ipod,
  1. Open up iTunes by double clicking on the "iTunes" icon.
  2. Go to "Library" on the far left side of the screen. Click "Music" from this list, which will bring up all your music on the main part of the screen.
  3. Choose a song you would like to delete from the list and right click on it. Click "Delete" from the drop-down menu that appears to delete your song.
  4. Go to the bottom of the left column on the screen to "Playlists." Click on one of your playlists to bring up the list of songs in the list. From there you can delete a song on the list.
  5. Connect your iPod to your computer. The iTunes program will automatically sync your iPod to whatever you have changed in your iTunes library as long as it is set to the default settings.
Take care.

How can i erase songs from my ipod

1. Connect your iPod to the computer. You cannot delete files from the iPod directly, and must use the iTunes interface to add and remove content from the iPod. Connect the device to the computer by plugging the long end of the sync cable (which came bundled with your iPod) into the data port of the iPod and then plugging the USB side into your computer.
2. Launch iTunes. Once you have plugged in your iPod, launch the iTunes program. You may need to wait a few moments while the program locates your iPod. You will know that your iPod has been located because a small icon that looks like your iPod will pop up on the left side of the iTunes program.
3. Click on your iPod to show the Device menu and then scroll over to the center pane where the music is. Find the song(s) you wish to delete. Left-click on the song (or album) you want to delete and then right-click.
4. Select "Remove" from the submenu. A message will pop up asking if you only want to remove it from the iPod or whether you want to remove it from the iPod and iTunes. If you want to keep a copy of the file(s) on your computer, select the option that removes the file only from your iPod. Once the file has been removed, go back to the iPod menu and select "Sync" from the center pane. This will remove the song from your iPod.

I pod nano 8GB

I have sometimes found that you need to plug it into another USB port. Try all the usb ports you have and see if it helps. Also I found that a few times it would only sink if I plugged it to the firewire port in my old computer.

Grays songs in ipod when connected to Computer

You need to set your iPod to update manually, instead of syncing automatically when you plug it into the computer.

To do this, plug your iPod into your computer, and on the iPod info screen that pops up in iTunes when your iPod is connected, click "Manually Manage Files."
You'll now have to click and drag your songs from your library to your iPod, but now you can also play songs on your computer directly from your iPod and delete songs from your library without deleting them from your iPod at the same time.

Hope this helped!

Deleting all memory at once

Ipod manuals http://www.apple.com/support/manuals/ipod/ Not sure if you have 1st or 2nd gen 1st: http://manuals.info.apple.com/en/iPod_nano_Features_Guide.pdf 2nd: http://manuals.info.apple.com/en/iPod_nano_2nd_Gen_Features_Guide.pdf These manuals suggest that when you connect to itunes, it automatically deletes all songs not in your library. Otherwise i don't see a format option unless the drive shows up in my computer and you can format it there (right click). It basically suggests that you have to use one of the manual methods on the pod or computer to delete songs. Have fun!

İpod nano not seen at explorer and itunes

- check the cable - check the connections on the bottom of the ipod for bent pins, or dirt - make sure ipod battery is fully charged - if you have all your library backed up, reset ipod to factory. You will lost all settings etc. though. - check usb ports are working properly with no conflicts or driver issues (control panel\system\hardware\device manager) - uninstall usb ports on pc, let pc redetect them
