Question about Canon Speedlite 430EX TTL Flash
Hi, I have a Canon Speedlite 430EX TTL that I thought I lost on a trip. I found it in my closet last week after being stored for about 1 year... :) I went to power on the flash and it will not work.
I had rechargeable batteries stored in the flash but it doesn't appeared that they leaked at all.
I purchased new rechargeable batteries just in case the old one's were no longer good but it still will not power on.
There appears to be a little substance on the metal connector within the battery housing but very very little.
YOU NEED TO REPLACE THE CONTACTS ORT USE SOME AMONIA AND WATER TO REMOVE THE CORROSION.
