Water lines for water & Ice maker- ED25UE Whirlpool refridge/freezer

Ok, after you have a good laugh.....can someone help me out with this problem. Before we were married, my wife stored her Whirlpool side by side in the garage at her daughter's house. We recently retrieved it and set up house and when I went to hook up the water to the fridge, mice had chewed through ALL the plastic tubing associated with the water&ice dispenser as well as the tubing to the ice maker. I imagine I can run new tubing (looks like there are a couple of different sizes), but I need an exploded view of the valve contraption under the fridge to determine which lines go where. I can get started at the inlet from the hose that comes from the wall to the back of the fridge, but beyond that, there is really nothing to follow & there are 4 fittings that need to be addressed.

Thanks for any input you can provide!!

Model #WSF26C2EXY02. Why is ice maker not making ice?

When the ice-tray is full it pushes 'UP' a lever that shuts the water supply off. When you move the lever down all goes back to normal.

I know this is a stupid question but is the water supply to my ice maker(ed25ue whirlpool)connected from the back of the freezer at the top?If so does the supply that goes to it run through the filter...

water enters from a valve through the filter through either of two valves to either the water dispenser or the ice-maker . The water enters the ice maker through the small tube running up the back of the fridge and then into a spout inside.

Want to remove the doors on my side by side whirlpool fridge have icemaker and water in door

When removing doors with an ice maker. Under cover on top off unit there is an electrical hook up, unplug it. then at bottom of freezer door there is a water line, it has a quick connect on it. Push in to release then pull apart. Take screws out of top hinge and remove door. Same on refridge side, just no wires or water line.

Not making ice. no water in the ice-maker

Good day,
There are a lot of reasons the ice maker can fail to mae ice.
If you take the following steps it will resolve the proble. However, the freezer must be at normal temeratures for the ice maker to function.
If the freezer rises above 14 degrees the ice maker will lock out. That is by design.
First step is to take a small paper cup of water and fill the cavity until it is near full. With the ice maker turned on, close freezer door and wait 3 hours to see if it harvests. If not, the ice maker is bad, and must be replaced. If the cubes harvest then.......
Three possibilities.
1. The water supply from the house is not delivering water to the water valve. Shut off the house at the meter, disconnect the line going to the water valve, and with the line pointed into a bucket, have someone turn the valve back on for a 15 second count. The water should come out smartly. If not, the line and it's fittings will have to be replaced.
2. The fill tube from the back of the machine that feeds water into the back of the ice maker is frozen up. You will have to remove the ice maker to visually inspect that tube. If blocked, it needs to be defrosted, but use caution. Too much heat too fast will start to melt plastic and vinyl parts you don't want melted.
If this is the case, then once cleaned out, you will have to change the water valve located in the back bottom rear of the machine because it is leaking during the off cycle.
3. If everything checks O.K. up to this point, you will have to purchase and install a new water valve, and install it.
P.S. Under very rare occasions the electric circuity in the ice maker will fail to send a signal to the water valve. Although rare, it can happen, in which case the best option is to replace the ice maker and water valve.

Ice Maker stopped working -- new fridge 3 months old.

Good day,
Icing could be one problem. The first thing to test is the water supply to the machine. Shut the house off at the meter. Remove the line from the water valve at the machine. Insert the line into a bucket while someone else turns on the water at the meter for a 15 second count. It should come out forcefully, not weak or just dribbling.
If it's bad, then the line and the fittings where it connects to the house supply should be inspected, and cleaned or replaced as needed.
If it is O.K. and the machine is under one year of age, it is under warranty and you should call your selling dealer for a free service call.

NOT MAKING ICE , INSTALLED NEW ICE MAKER,STILL NO ICE , I'm getting water from ft door dispenser, but no water to or in ice maker ANY HELP WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED Thank you Ed

Good day,
The best way is to do a step by step proceedure to get you there. Skip any steps you've covered but I've had more than one new ice maker out of the box that never worked.
Freezer temp must be below 15 degrees for ice maker to cycle.

First step is to take a small paper cup of water and fill the cavity until it is near full. With the ice maker turned on, close freezer door and wait 3 hours to see if it harvests. If not, the ice maker is bad, and must be replaced. If the cubes harvest then.......

Freezer drain line and upper drain pan freezes up regularly.

sounds like your fill tube is leaking
you should be able to pull it out from the back of the machine
to inspect it
if the fill tab on the tube is facing in any other direction than down it should be straight down
