If the washer knob of the unit is going round and round all by itself it means that there is something that has malfunctioned in the unit or else there was an error in setting proper cycles.

Once you have reseted the unit and even then the washer knob is going round & round it means that a part or parts in the machine have gone bad which may need to be replaced.
The question would be how can one understand which part in the unit has gone bad.
To make things easier, here is what needs to be done to know which part has gone bad.
- After reseting the unit, set a new cycle and switch on the machine.
- If the washer knob starts going round and round, the mode+Door lock light will flicker in a sequence, for example, it may flicker 4 times before taking a pause and then flicker 4 times again and continue this sequence.
- Once you know what is the count which is also the fault code there is a fault code chart which you can refer to understand which part has gone bad.
