Go to the Toshiba support site and download it. If you model is a satellite here is the link. You may have to visit a different Toshiba country website to find the correct model.

Testimonial: "Cheers. Got one at the site you gave the link for."

How do i replaced the charger socket in my l300d toshiba laptop

I have come across this issue in a number of Toshiba laptops recently. The DC jack assembly (which includes a wiring harness and the DC jack) actually breaks away from the bottom laptop housing. What I have done is to glue the jack back in place using a hot glue gun. You need to be careful and observe how the right speaker (located on the top housing) is situated. Be liberal on the glue and make sure the jack is encased in the glue. I have not had any units returned after this was done.

Good luck

You can easily and carefully disassemble the notebook and depending on your model some come with a cable that can be purchased and replaced, if its part of the motherboard then you would have to get someone to get it back on it or replaced the motherboard, if its a manual fix it might not always work.

The BIOS password maybe able to be removed provided this laptop had a LPT printer port.
