Try saving the document to your local drive first, then send the file as an attachment. When the file is opened from your Outlook, it resides only as a temp file while you are viewing it, then to try to send that temp file, it causes issues with outlook. Save the file first, then send it, but don't try to send the file from the temp view whilst opening the file that is still in another e-mail

- More specifics on exactly what you are doing, the step by step process you are using to get the results that you are getting may also help. I would like to help find the solution. Were you then saying that you have a word document open, and that you are trying to send as an e-mail? Or were you opening a document from an e-mail, and trying to re-send it(This is what I was assuming). When sending a document as an e-mail you should have 2 options, one is to send as an attachment, what happens when you send as an attachment? As always, apply all Service packs and updates to you office program. Also if you wish to reply, leaving the version, and SP info of your Office package will be helpful in troubleshooting. I use Office 2003 SP2. What version are you using? If you don't know, the easiest way is to click Help, then About MS Office. This will give you the version info.

I am attempting to edit a shared calendar in Microsoft Office Outlook 2003. But it is giving me "unable to display the folder. The server mailbox cannot be opened because the address book entry is not a mail user." What does that mean and how can I fix it? I am running Windows XP Professional SP3.
