Go to Start>All Programs>Norton360>Support

Their support process is very good. First thing it will do is a scan. Eventually, if it is not resolved, you will have a chance to have a live chat with their tech support...free! I would go that route first.

I would download the Norton Removal Tool for 360. Save it to your desktop and then run it after the download. Then since you did a download, you will have to do it again.

This time, save it to your Temp folder and run it from there after the download.

If you need some more help, comment back.

As long as you had it activated through the Symantec site, you should be OK. You will need to log in to Symantec to verify your activation.

I used my calculator for years. When I lost my job 3 yrs ago, I stopped using it. How do I calculate a monthly payment for $100,000 at 7% interest rate over 360 months?

if what you are saying is that you have to calculate 7% monthly from 100 $ this means exactly $7 for each month ..so you have to multiply 7 for one month with 360 months and the result will be $2520 for all 360 ...unless it has some penalties to be calculated or something like that ..If the problem that you describe is accurate this is the answer..

IF Norton is running (you'll see the icon next to the clock) you have to stop the service first. You might be able to right click the icon, and tell it to exit, or go to Task Manager, and stop the processes related to Norton. Once you have the processes stopped, then try uninstalling it.
