Question about Micro Innovations (09N5545) Keyboard

MI Keyboard I have only had this keyboard for about a month. What have I pressed that I shouldn't? No power from keyboard. Yes I checked the USB plug etc. I have tried all buttons. The manual is missing. Would appreciate any help.

    Only the numbers 5 and 6 work on my keyboard. Is there a fix or do I need to buy another one brand? This one is brand new. Thanks to anyone that can help.

    Here is my issue:

    I have a wired Mi keyboard with the media buttons up top. Occasionally out of nowhere, I think, I can no longer type and it goes straight to keybinds like I was holding control :(


    Anyone know how to turn that off?

I bought a used Mi wireless keyboard but unfortunately the buttons Shift and Ctrl don't work at all. I don't know what should be the problem as every thing else is perfect. I would appreciate any help.

Might be a bad keyboard, the makers mistakers, I had one that didnt work at the slightest touch, millions out there and 1000s can go bad even mouses. Try the keyboard driver and make sure windows sees it as a keyboard not something else,if you cant get a response try a little dab of alcohol on the tip of the usb and wait till dry also clean out any surface, If all things fail time to buy again! :)

I'm going to need even more information; The devices that use PS2 connections, which device is it, and how many of those devices do you have?

One thing that might be a problem, if the issue you see is intermittent, I would check the PS2 connector and see if the pins are bent or broken. PS2 connector pins sometimes will bend or break and this can cause some connection issues if not completely stop the keyboard/mouse from working... Also given the age of your PC the PS2 port may just be bad, but this is not a fatal injury to a computer.

Replacing the Keyboard and Mouse with a standard USB keyboard and mouse, should resolve all of your issues.

PS2 is an older technology that keyboards and mice used to run on; Now however USB connections are used.

Further more, if this an HP Desktop with 2 USB ports on the front, and 4 USB ports on the back, you will want to avoid using the 2 USB ports on the front, especially on older HP and Dell Desktops, the reason is the power supplies often do not have enough power to run multiple USB devices on the front USB ports.

The back ports should be fine regardless of the number of devices.

The wireless keyboard and mouse are not working.


  • Check to ensure that the wireless receiver is plugged into your computer. Press the "Connect" button on the bottom of the receiver to attempt reconnecting your mouse and keyboard to the computer. If your mouse and keyboard use Bluetooth, ensure that your computer's Bluetooth is active and detects the mouse and keyboard.
  • Check to see if the keyboard and mouse are turned on. If the power indicator lights on the keyboard and mouse are not green, press the "Power" button to turn the keyboard and mouse on.
  • Check the batteries of the mouse and keyboard. If the batteries are dead, replace them with fresh batteries and reconnect the mouse and keyboard to the computer by pressing the "Connect" button on the bottom of the wireless receiver attached to the computer. If your mouse and keyboard use rechargeable batteries, let the batteries recharge before using the device again.
  • Uninstall and reinstall your wireless keyboard and mouse drivers. Sometimes, the Logitech drivers are at fault for a bad connection. Use the Control Panel to uninstall the old drivers, then visit the Logitech website and install the latest drivers for your keyboard and mouse.
  • Search the Logitech Support Database. If your keyboard and mouse are still failing to function properly, visit the Logitech Support website and browse the support page for your product for specific solutions.

I replaced my hard drive in my hp pavilion desktop a1520n windows loads and then reads that i will have to register my copy of windows But my keyboard and usb ports dont have power so i cant do a...


A lot depends on where the keyboard and mouse are plugged in. I have seen in the past that the USB in the back works better than the front. Are these the original keyboard and mouse? If not, use the original until after Windows loads the desktop.

this wireless keyboard is belong to same receiver if it yes then press the connect button from keyboard site as well as form the receiver site to get synchronize the frequency. Then it will start working.

Try a different keyboard on your computer.
If that works, try your keyboard on a different computer.
If it fails, then replace the keyboard.

check that youhave installed the keyboard correctly , for that to do first press the receiver signal button then press the button on the keyboard which will be connect.....
