Converted Videos won't play on my Ematic E6 jr

I suggest you try this conversion program and if it works the uninstall the other conversion programs.
Check the specification of your MP3 player to determine the type of video file format it uses. Most common video files that MP3 players use are, AVI and WMV, there may be others such as FLV, MOV and DivX. If your player cannot play a video then it is an incompatible video file format, then you need to convert that video file to a format that your MP3 player uses. After video conversion then copy the video files to your MP3 player using the USB cable from your computer. Ive already downloaded converter program and its telling me to connect device. I connected it and its not doing anything

Ok, please note that the videos downloaded directly from the internet may not work properly on the player. You have to first convert them into a format that is suitable to the player using Philips media converter.

Download the Philips Media Converter software. Make sure corresponding Codec for playing videos is installed before downloading.

The codecs are required to play videos on your player. To download Codec, you can:
1. Go to www.download.com/windows
2. Search for "directshow codec pack"
3. Download and install one of the codec packs from the list of results

Now to download video, connect your player to the PC and click the icon "Internet video downloader" at your desktop. Open the website (eg. you tube) where your desired video clip locates. Move the cursor over the video you want to download until you see the Download icon. Double click on the icon to enable download.

After downloading, the Media Converter for Philips will then start to convert the video to the format that suits your player. If your player is connected to the PC, the video will be transferred to the player automatically.

Hope this helps..

AVI video's won't work

Your unit will not recognize AVI files. It only will play MP3, MP4, and WMA files. The converter software should convert the AVI file into the proper format for your player, but if it is not working, you can either,
1. uninstall the software and reinstall it to see if it was just a bad installation and/or
2. try a different software to convert the files to the proper format. Click HERE for a FREE alternative to bypass your software problem if all else fails.
I hope this helps and good luck!

Itunes download is stopping and freezing

It may be something to do with your internet connection. Try looking at your internet speed. For iTunes downloads, you want at a minimum 54 mbps speed for downloads. If that doesn't work, try reinstalling iTunes and see what happens.

My computer doesnt see my player

Try uninstalling the walkman software from your computer (Window's has it conveniently placed in your control panel for removing programs) and reinstalling the walkman software. You could also try finding the driver from another forum (or this one) and download/install the new driver and see if that helps

I made a grave error

I resolved my error and maybe you should try uninstall, install one more time.
For what ever reasons, I uninstalled the programs then reinstalled the program and the files are complete again.
I know I did this once before and it did not fix the problem either times so perhaps you can try it one more time.
Simply ask the RCA software to uninstall from your pc harddrive, making sure that all the files have been removed including any RCA Detective and EasyRip. Then go to the RCA website and sort through the Support and Download Updates and find the EasyRip software you can download for free from the site and follow the instructions, making sure that your player is connected to the pc while you install the software again.
Good luck and give that a try. Tell us your results here.

NEED HELP!!! Rhapsody Software Download Problem

Okay...MacAffee is causing problems with your connection and with the download/update. You will need to right click on the MacAffee icon in the system tray (bottom right of the screen) and open the program to turn it off (or just quit the program). Also make sure your firewall is down when doing this.

Re-install BBDMS (aka Rhapsody), and allow the update to happen. Once this is complete (assuming that MacAffee is the only anti-virus software running) launch the program, connect your MP3 player, and "authorize" the player on your computer.

This should take care of the problem.

I would also recomend a different anti-virus and firewall program. AVG isn't as invasive, and PCTools firewall will allow you to configure what programs are allowed to use the internet.
