You can make your own filters out of felt and I have also found that with some minor modifications most of the parts from Mr. Heater will work with Dyna Glo. I have a 170btu kerosene heater and just installed an ignition, a high limit control and a flame sensor from Mr. Heater and it works like new.

Home Depot is still selling propane heaters by Dyna-Glo. I found out that they are being marketed by Enerco Group Inc. (They make Mr. Heater). When I called the number (1-800-251-0001) I was put through to a Service Rep. He informed me that Dyna-Glo is in financial troubles and that although Enerco is selling these heaters manufactured by Dyna-Pro they are not honoring the warranty or carrying any parts. He suggested I call "Porable Heater Parts" at 1-800-362-6951("they have some limited parts, depending on how old your heater is").
The one I just bought from Home Depot is the Dyna-Glo Pro. It is the double headed 10,000 to 30,000 BTU Radiant heater that mounts ontop of a 20 lb propane tank. I thought I was buying a Mr. Heater. I was told that the parts are not interchangeable. I'm going to see if I can return it. If I ever need any parts, it doesn't look like I'll be able to get them.

Kathy, I googled "dyna glo heater parts" came up with
I understand that RMC, the manufacturer, had financial problems, but a different company might have taken over. A phone call to the above company might give an insight on whether you want to keep the 3 heaters or list them on ebay & replace them with heaters made by DESA. This is not a sales pitch! No gain for me by saying this! But, Reddy Heaters have been around since the sixties. The foreign companies copy but just can't produce a product that will match up. Just my 2 cents.

I have a dyna glo pro rmc-kfa170tdgp heater. its 3 yrs old and is used ea. winter. its stored and still looks new. we started the heater and ran it until it was empty. we refilled it and now it wont...

This is only a guess but how about putting a drop of light house hold oil on the top of the fuel tank then screwing it on. If I were to guess and I certainly am I am guessing that the fuel valve is stuck, just like my fork trucks do in the winter. Try this and if you can some how let me know if this worked for you.Curious as to out come. Good luck

I have no manual and no clue

After not finding any help on the Internet, I went to Home Depot to see if they could help. I deduced through my own that the ignitor has failed. (symptom: Turn on the heater, no buzzing, no ignition, heater turns off, light blinks). It's the nifty little black box that has two white wired leading to the circuit board, and two thick black wires going to the spark plug. Of course, Home Depot doesn't carry parts.

They had one Dyna Pro heater on the shelf. My wife found a phone number on the box. We called it and sure enough, we found the company and was able to order the replacement ignitor over the phone. Total cost: $33.00 (Including shipping).

IS HELP OUT THERE. Here's the info:

GHP Group.
7500 Saint Louis, Skokie, IL 60076

The replacement part is part number: 39E0002500
It fits models: RMC-KFA125TDGP, RMC-KFA170TDGP, and RMC-KFA70TDGP

Hope this helps.
