RCA Colortrak Plus Model # F27672ET

I have an RCA Colortrak Plus that takes a while to warm up. During warm up the pictures rolls very fast at first then slows down and eventually lines up. It has been doing this for a couple of years but hasn't been a major issue until now, as it will start to slowly roll at random times even after warm up. Model # F27672ET Serial # 53523080T Chasis # CTC187BD2 Service # F27672ETFE2

Re: RCA Colortrak Plus Model # F27672ET

Your set might have a leaky capacitor that takes a while to fully charge to the supply voltage as well as loose conections to the vertical Ic,sometimes you can identify it because it overheated and the insulation is peeling, sometimes they look normal but they are bad.If you are familiar with tv service you will have a place to check but if you are not too familiar seek the assistance of a servicer.

TOSHIBA 57H82 TV Blurry for 15 minutes till warms up

This is a model first sold 2002.

They have a history of the Hyper board failing. Usually noise or lines in the picture and the warmup time gradually gets longer and longer.

This board processes all signal from all inputs inside the set and is no longer available from Toshiba.

The only way to get one is from a national company called PTS Electronics who rebuilds or repairs them--cost for rebuilt board is about 220 plus shipping and part number for this model is:
Part Number23148024

I have a service bulletin with photos of the board on my computer.

It is a financial decision, not a job for the average do it yourself person to attempt.

Let me know if you have questions or need help.

Hooking up from hd receiver to hdtv ready projection tv. what cables do I use? vga or rca component red, blue, green and sync white/black? My hd receiver has output of :hdmi, rca component, s-video ,...

This particular television puts you in a tough bind - you can use Component cables in AV-1, but you won't be able to get HD. Or you can use the Component cables in the right-most component slot (AV-4), but since your HD Receiver probably doesn't have V/H Sync connectors, you may get a rolling picture. Try the component cables in the right-most slot - if the picture doesn't roll, you're in business.

Once again, I doubt that your model # is a 60pp9202, since that model doesn't have a VGA or DVI slot. If the picture rolls after trying the above, you will need to purchase a HDMI-to-DVI-D cable and hook it up from the HDMI output of your HD receiver to the DVI slot (that looks like a VGA slot) on the back of your Philips or Magnavox.

I have a colortrak plus rca 32" television that has no power it is not the outlet

I'd suggest testing the power flow of the television with a multimeter. Set it to voltage and check the relay. You can get multimeters that you can plug electronics in to. If you get no voltage change the power supply is dead. If you do get a change, then the tubes may be dead.

Rolling picture

Try replaceing capacitors C2C52 10uf 50V capacitor and also C2P05 100uf 16V capacitor. these are both on the signal board. It that doesnt correct the issue replace IC2P01 which is the 9volt regulator also located on the signal board. That should take care of your problem

TV has sound but no picture RCA ColorTrak 2000 P52150CP

If I had a model # it would be helpful but my guess is the deflection circuit failed and a fuse opened in that circuit. Could be vertical or hoizontal circuit failure but either way you will need test equip. as well as solder/desolder equip. to repair it. If set is over 10-12 years old you may consider replacing set in this case Sorry I can't be more help.

Picture is Rolling..stops after some warm-up

I have seen this many times. There is a 9 volt regulator on the small signal board that causes this. The regulator goes bad and the 9 volts starts dropping, especially at start-up when the regulator is cold. If the voltage is below 8 volts then the picture gets dark and the vertical becomes unstable, with the picture squeezing down and/or rolling. As the regulator warms up the voltage starts rising back towards 9 volts and the symptoms start clearing up. There are 3 regulators in a row on the board and the regulator in the middle is always the bad one. Replacing that regulator should cure your problems but it should be replaced by someone experienced in servicing Mitsubishi projection TV's because pulling the chassis out is quite tricky.
