I have easily solved this problem here in Brazil, where there are no Bugaboo retailers or assistance. I just opened the brake lever case by unscrewing it and fixed the white piece in its correct position. It's very easy to figure it out. The only special care you have to take is not to lose the spring that is inside it. I've read the solution here in this site wherelse.
The right thing to do is to contact bugaboo they should solve this problem by sending you a new chasis if it is under 2 years old if not you can purchase a new chasis at a near by retailer they can order one for you here is bugaboo's number 1-800-460-2922

Your best bet is to contact www.bugaboo.com for a brake assembly replacement. If the break is permanently in the 'on' position, then gently push it forward (as if to put in on) whilst pushing the white release button, this should release the mechanism. If this is still within it's warranty, see your retailer for help.,
Based on what you have described, it sounds like the silver domed cover (where the handle meets the bottom of the chassis) may be damaged, this may mean a new chassis is required.
I would suggest that you contact your retailer for repair advice (if this is still within the warranty period) or contact Bugaboo directly on the website link below:
the only way is to call directly to bugaboo because these are inner problems that have to be fixed (if it can) if the stroller is more then 2 years old you might have to go to your nearst retailer and order a new chasis for i it (there around 100.00 to 200 dollars. if you need the exact amount let me now and I can get it for you tomorrow the number for bugaboo is 1-800-460-2922 good luck
We had a similar problem, the right-hand hinge of the frame would not lock and the button was permanently down. What had happened was the handle extension switch housing had come unscrewed and slipped up the frame, causing a small spring to fall out. The lock switches each have a spring which pushes down on a rod inside the frame to lock the hinge. To access the spring, unscrew the handle extension housing and slide it up the aluminum frame. I replaced the missing spring and the frame works perfectly. If the problem is with the spring, this should work. Alternatively the problem may lie inside the lock switch housing, which contains a very simple mechanism which slides the lock rod up and down. This can be unscrewed as well. As far as I can tell, the actual hinge assembly itself is a sealed unit and can't be opened, but hopefully, you won't have to. Good luck, Ben
the brake disengages using the button. if it is forced the mechanism slips. its fairly straightforward to take it apart with a screwdriver. clean the plastic parts, put it back together right and screw it back on. then all you need to do is show granny how to work it (again) to prevent it happening again.
