SOURCE: How to record miscall on Panasonic kx-t7730

It depends on your phone system.

If you have a TA system it requires 2 or 4 CO (buttons with lights) buttons. Personal CID Log is
6 for indications and 7 for selection. Group is 96 and 97. You don't have to have a SELECT button but it helps.

If you have a TAW or TDA system you only need one button per feature because the navigator key works as a selector button. The code is 54 for personal and 54 plus the ICD group for system.

The sequence to program these buttons is PROG button CODE store

SOURCE: Digital panasonic kx-t7633

The 7633 has a FWD/DND button. Is it blinking, lit solid or dark? It's designed to be pressed 3 times for FWD DND or OFF....It's programmed as follows, assuming that 500 is your voice mail access code:

From the intercom dial *7101. That sets DND. Dial 710x 500 # to set call forwarding where x-2 for all calls 3 for BUSY for for NO ANS 5 for BSY/NA. 7&8 are FOLOW ME commands and they have a different set of instructions ie Dial *7107 plus your extension to have calls come to the phone you're at and *7108 plus your extension to cancel it. I have never seen it used. *7100 cancels all forward and DND arrangements from your phone..

This is just hte command set for ALL CALLS. You can also set up forwarding for Outside Calls and Inside calls seperately and you can program buttons to do the forwarding.

Your Panasonic dealer has 2 manuals that you would find interesting, one is the TDA Operating Manual and the PTPM Manual. The operating manual has a complete set of programming instructions for the manager and users of TDA systems, the PTPM has a complete set of programming features that can be performed from a Panasonic 76XX display phone.

THe pdf's aren't huge and they can be sent to your email address if you provide one under the Ask Me button.

My panasonic KX-TG5663B's screen says 9 and a little circle. The answering machine is not working. It just tells callers we are not available and hangs up. Can you assist us with this issue?

The answering system is set for the greeting mode. It will enter this state if the message memory is full or when the caller recording time is set to Greeting only.

To change the caller recording time from the handset, press Menu 0 6 2 then select the desired length of the recording. Then Save the setting and press Off.

If the phone is in this state, then delete messages from the unit. Then reset the caller recording time.

The manual for the phone is available here: http://www2.panasonic.com/consumer-electronics/support/Phones-Fax/Telephones/5-8-GHz-Phones/Operating-Instructions/model.KX-TG5653B.O#ts .

I hope this helps.

Need to retrieve lost or deleted message.

As a Expert that is not going to happen once these messages are deleted there gone for good, Even a data recovery center would not be able to help unless it was store on a magnetic tape of some sort.

What you got in this machine is NV-RAM Non voltile RAM random access memory. Meaning once the unit looses power or messages where deleted that area can no linger be accessed.

Hate to be the bad news breaker here makes me feel bad. But please show you support and leave a postive feedback and rating for your free answer today.

Model#kx-tg6071b when talk button is pushed, screen shows" no link to base move closer, try again". That is what appears on both handsets.

Press MENU, scroll down to INITIAL SETTINGS (press select), scroll down to REGISTRATION (press select), then select HS REGISTRATION, and follow the instructions on the handset screen. This is for the KX-TG6071B, but is similar for most Panasonic Cordless phones. That will link the handset to the base, and YOU MUST DO IT WITH EACH HANDSET.
