My screen looks distorted (blackened). Any ideas why?

I think you may be having a problem with the projection bulb.

That problem is usually happen when the TV is near the magnet or the speaker.


You have to do is demagnetized the screen of your TV using screen Degausser.

The picture looks like this:


Just plug-in the degausser and push the button in front of your TV.

This is generic for CRT based projectors and is cloudy coolant in the CRTs
Another problem is poor connections on the CRT bases

You have a bad optical block, the block has a 2 year warrnty but you will have to pay labor to have a tech change it

do you happen to have any speakers of any size within about 3 feet in any direction of the tv?? move them if so, I have large speakers about 5 feet from my tv at home and i still get some distortion once in a while with red and dark green streaks.
