The software supplied by USR only supports windows (not MAC).
this link is for the page detailing the unit.

I GOT NET CARD OF MODEL USR 7900 OF U.S.ROBOTICS I DONT HAVE THE INSTALLETION CD. SO FROM WHERE I CAN DOWNLOAD THE DRIVER FOR THE SAME

Go to this page, and read it, checking if it's the proper model's page.
Download the driver, unzip it to some folder and point the "new hardware wizard" to that folder when it detects your card. If it doesn't any more, go to Device Manager, open Properties of your already detected earlier card, find an "Update driver" button on a proper tab, and point to the folder where you unzipped the files.

I have a desktop with a ethernet cable running directly to then i have a wireless card in it that is suppose to send the internet to my wireless router and then the router is suppose to give internet to...

log onto router in URL type in 192.168.1.1 if nothing happens, go to command prompt and type in:
C: arp -a the first instance of 192.168.x.x will be your IP address. Go back up to the URL type it in.

log on to router - admin is default for username as well as password. make sure on front page there that where it says "
Starting IP Address: document.write(document.setup.SDHCP1.value+"."+document.setup.SDHCP2.value+"."+document.setup.SDHCP3.value+".") 192.168.0. (put a 2 here)

Also, make sure the number of wireless devices is allowing more than just your desktop.

Last, on the MAC tab, make sure addressing is OFF

Good Luck with it. Hope it works for you - I need some ratings and votes etc...

Lost cd

You can probably find the software on the manufactures web site and download it and run the software from the .exe file. Without knowing the model number of the Wireless Adapter I have no way of looking for you, but the manufacture should be able to provide it via download.

Wont recognise in win xp

Go to Google and search for the "Microcom WF-3124" Driver, the US Robotics USR5416 PCI Wireless b/g Adapter is using the same TI chipset of "TNET 1130" as the Microcom WF-3124 Wireless b/g Adapter, thus it works for the USR5416 as well. here is the LINK for download the WF-3124 driver
