Can I safely pull a pop up camper (1500 to 2000 lbs) with my 2003 buick lesabre limited? I do not have a hitch yet, so if you say I can pull it, do I need more equipment installed on the car?

TRUCKS AND SUV WILL HAVE MORE PULLING POWER.THEY WOULD BE THE IDEAL THING FOR PULLING CAMPER OR BOAT.FRONT WHEEL DRIVE AXLES AND DRIVE CHAIN CANT PULL TO MUCH WEIGHT COULD BREAK FRONT AXLE AND STRETCH BREAK DRIVE CHAIN.

Any place that sells campers can advise you. I would disconnect the water supply line underneath the camper and open all faucets. This will drain the lines. Pour some antifreeze especially designed for this purpose in the toilet and in all sinks. Don't forget to flush the toilet and pour a little in the tank after you turn the water off. This will prevent the traps from freezing.
