Question about Sony Grand WEGA KF50WE610 50" Rear Projection HDTV-Ready Television
I have recently got a blue band on the left of the screen and lots of blue dots all over the screen when the TV is on. I replaced the bulb XL 2100 thinking this would solve it, but the problem is still there.
What could it be and how can i solve this.

You most likely have a bad optical block. The blue dots are a pretty good indication of this. Sony has extended the warranty of some of their models to include an extension on the optical block replacement. I don't recognize your model number (Not a US model?) so you will have to check with Sony in your country to see if your set is covered. Please be sure to rate this solution. Thanks!

click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
