Yes, if facing the front of the unit, with the cover off, when i hit the power button, the 5th white box from the left, turns an orange color when i hit the power button, and then kicks the unit off... i unplugged it and hit the power button again, then i touched the white box with my finger and it was already hot to the touch... is this a fixable problem??... oh yeah, my problem started when i decided to run my computer to my stereo with the digital RCA cable as opposed to the line out to stereo RCA configuration which i had been using... when there would be a loud part of a song, the RT2360 would overload and shut off, even tho i had the WAVE volume, master volume and SPDIF volume at a minimum... then the last time the RT2360 worked, i started to smell something and felt the top of the stereo and realized it was too hot, i went to shut it off and before i could move my hand from the top of the unit to the bottom, it sounded like it shorted out... thats when the "orange white box" problem started... is it a paperweight now?

open it up then plug it in. when you press the power button see if one of the large white boxes (there are six in a row) lights up red.
