Take the battery out, you should see two tiny screws. One has come loose and is jamming the slider.

You should take the phone to a mobile service center and have them correct the problem for you.

I have a sony xperia mini pro, one with a sliding key board but it stopped working when i slide it wide but if it half open it is working..... seems like it is loosing its contact as I slide it open into...

There is a problem in the mobile hardware.
The problem is in the FLEX CABLE of the mobile slide.
Send it to Repair Store.
You cant fix it by your self ,you need tools and you need a new FLEX CABLE.

I got problem in my cellphone when i open to slide it its hang and i cant see the number or message something i dont know? this is my unit my cellphone.w395

It is possible that your display gets cut off fromthe main board becasue there is a flexible strip connecting cord that would have got cut and disconnected the display . This happens becasue of the slide action and a fault that comes with long use. The stip wries needs to be changed which you need to do it at a serrvice replair shop. Hope this works as thought. Good day.

My xenon touch screen does not work properly when i slide it doesnt work. But when i dont it does. Its frustrating

Hello,

If you notice that the keypad functions when you slide it but the touch does not. and the touch does not work.
There seem to be a problem with the flex of the phone.

This is because the touch is not connecting with the panel of the phone.

The flex is the mechanism that assists the phone in sliding.

Once the flex is repaired, the phone will be okay again.

Take care

Touch screen not responding

Hi, I have the HTC touch from bell. I too had the same problem with my screen. It stopped working completely. The phone is pretty much useless without the touch screen working, there is only 3 buttons on the phone! Can't even dial 911... So I was pretty pissed when the screen stopped working. Like others I searched the internet for answers and didn't really find too much. I found that maybe tapping the four corners of the screen firmly might work, but it didn't. Taking the protective cover off the screen might work, didt't work. I tried updating the ROM, using the official software from HTC website. I was able to update my phone, but my touch screen still didn't work. Someone said something about some copper connections inside the phone, need to be re-adjusted behind the screen or something like that. So I willing opened the phone (only 4 hex screws on the back) and took the front plastic cover off. If you look closely, you'll see the front cover is plugged into the 'motherboard' and you can simply unplug it. I unplug it and plug it back in, do a restart of the phone (take battery out and back in) and still nothing, screen doesn't work.
I noticed that on the front cover of the phone (underneath) you can see the copper band of wires that connect to the buttons and probably feeds the information from the touch screen to the 'computer'. I accidentally unplugged the wire (thought I broke it) but was able to insert it back in. I put the the cover back on, put the battery in, power up phone, BINGO! Touch screen works! What I did to make it work? Not sure...
But for people with the same problem. Try this:
1) update ROM

2) Unplug and plug back in that little wire.

Its the red circle I'm talking about.

PaperPro 1110 Prodigy metal stapler Has ceased up. How do you open the top to access the mechanism? thanks Gerard

My PaperPro Prodigy stopped firing staples. Examination of the hammer mechanism was fine. (apparently sometimes an internal part can break) Check with stapler opened and no staples. Hold the safety lock pin down with a fingernail or sticky tape so you can check operation of the hammer mechanism. Should withdraw to clear staple compartment and then fire. If this looks good, examine the roof of the staple compartment. Mine had a little lump of brown grunge in the roof of the staple compartment next to the hammer - stopping the staples from sliding up into firing line. Scraped it out and works fine again.
