SOURCE: GE dryer starts but..... stops

What you describe is either a failed evenheat board or a failed motor relay.
Please post the complete model number from the machine and I can help you narrow it down. There should be a wiring diagram inside the console with voltage checks also.

SOURCE: Water leak on Zanussi tc7102 dryer

I had a similar problem. There is a 'o' ring on the plastic part that keeps coming out. This 'o' ring is not big enough, you need to replace it with a thicker one, preferably one made from a harder material.

SOURCE: dryer stops when I release push to start button

Timer may need to be replaced. You can test it with an ohmmeter or test light.
You can do the same with the push button. If you have more problems, then the main control could be faulty

If you look where the tensioner is and release the locking bolt, put the belt on and retension it whilst tightening up the locking bolts.

Zanussi Washing Machine - ZWF 14070W1 - Door Lock

If there is water still in the drum, try draining it out with the emergency drain hose down by the filter, then take out the filter bung by turning anti-clockwise and pull out to see what has got stuck in the pump. After this is cleared the door should open and the machine should be ready to run again.

Hope this helps.

Cannot open the door Zanussi Z910t

If the door will not release under any circumstances, then you will have to force the door lock open.
Remove top cover, and with a long screwdriver or similar, force it between door lock and door sneck, you will probably break door lock, so have spare one ready to replace faulty one.

The ZANUSSI WJS1397W unable to open door handle is floppy

Hi, You can just about get your hand inside the machine and down the front of the machine if you push the drum back at the same time. You will be able release the door lock if the pnuematic lock is not stuck open! If this is the case then you will need to pull off the hose on the bottom of the door to relase the lock be fore any attempt is made to relaese the door catch from the lock. Once the hose is off then you can open the door. But you will need to change the air chamber that is the big plastic chamber that sits in the front of the machine that the pump connects to as it will be full of scale from the water and they cannot be cleaned out. You will find that the machine will be more efficent and will spin dry the clothes better as your machine is and has been filling up to much with water.
Good luck and let me know if this helps..

We have a zanussi TC470 tumble dryer, it heats up at first but once we have left the clothes to dry for 70mins, we find that the clothes are still wet & the door has opened on the machine. Can...

The fixed thermostat on the Heater is probbaly faulty. (not the one with the reset button) I believe it is a Normall closed 80degree thermostat. What happens is they open when they get too hot and reset when they cool down. Probably broken. Worth replacing. Could be the one with the reset butti=on but as thye need a manual rest, probably not.

Door won't open

My Zanussi has an outlet filter that is accessible by a little door at the front. It gets clogged if not cleaned for a month or two. Then the machine can't drain and the door won't open. Removing and cleaning the filter should correct the problem. You'll need some sort of container to catch the water that will pour out after you remove the filter.
