Question about Xerox WorkCentre Pro 575 Plain Paper Laser Fax

Xerox WorkCentre Pro 575 error message

I have a message that I can't get rid of and hence a fax machine I cannot use. My machine says "top cover is open or no process unit". The manual says nothing about a process unit; where and what is that and how do I fix this!

Please help!

    Hi

I have the same problem. The machine is a WorkCentre Pro 535 and comes up with "no proccess unit m100%". No amount of switching the machine on and off fixes the problem. I thought it might be a faulty toner and ordered a new one. No joy after installing it though.

    Any help would be great

    thanks

Could be the tab that actuates the top cover switch is broken off.

The process unit is your drum, toner, and developer unit. It sits right under the top cover. Big black removeable cartridge.

How do you clear the memory when the machine says memory full 100%

You can find your answer at the link below. Just type "memory full" in the search dialog box and it will provide you with the many results and solutions for clearing the error. The message can be the result of many issues, so you may need to perform a few different steps:

I have a workcentre pro 575 and am receiving the message, "memory full". Nothing will print, and I hope you can tell me how to get the stored memory to print out. Thanks.

You hopefully just need to clear memory, delete phone numbers or delete jobs.

If those don't work the Main Board might be bad 160K72560

Can not send or receive fax.

Is the phone line plugged into the "line" jack and not the " phone or Ext " Jack?

I can receive faxes but cannot send them

Check your fax speed settings, also, make sure you get a good clear dial tone on the line. Sometimes it wont send if it detects line noise.

Work center Pro 575 will not communicate with PC.

I changed the port address to 3BCh-3BF and set the port to SPP. Rebooted twice and all seems to be working. Noticed the WorkCentre wakes up from Power Save mode on reboot, if this happens then all is working OK.
