Yes I have the same problem. Just changed the battery & syn'd the hands but the thermo shows 180.9, only hPA in the Meteo & FT in the Altimeter. Checked to see if there was a reset contact by removing & reinstalling the battery but there is nothing there. Alarm, Compass, & Chrono work fine. Tried to set the Altimeter & Thermo by holding + or - but screen blinks & then goes solid when I touch the + or -.

I have a 7 year old titanium T-touch. Thermo reads 83.4 C, Meteo reads hPA (no value) and Altimeter reads m (no value). This started about 2 years ago. The bottom three functions work fine.

I have the same problem. My Tissot T-Touch 1853 Titanium suddenly became defective. The Thermo, Meteo and Altimeter no longer function. If anyone has a solution my email is john@johnrodriguezonline.com

Same problem! No altimeter nor Meteo reading and the Thermo is stuck in 191.5 F!!! Everything else seems to work fine. Any thoughts?

Same problem except temp is 92.4C. Blank on the other two.

Plan to call service depot and see if I should send back for repair and cost.

Also, the LCD not readable on the bottom (very faint). Put under sunlight flr a day and problem fixed.

Touch function is not working

I had the same issue. After installing the battery and trying to calibrate several times... to no avail.I tried pressing the T button, keeping it pressed down and then install the battery. It give you a mode or function setting ( I'm not sure what it means). i then press the T button and it cycles through these mode setting. I synchronized the hands and then was able to get the: altimeter, compass, meteo, date and time working. The temp, chrono still doesn't work.
I think getting all the functions to work, depends on the mode setting... but i don't know the correct setting.

T touch Meteo out by 20 Milibars

Certain functions need to be calibrated. The altimeter and the Meteo are tied together. When a customer gets the watch, they should calibrate to either the Meteo or Altimeter. The easiest way to find out the altitude of the nearest airport (you can usually get this on line) and then go to the airport and adjust the
watch. This will also calibrate the Meteo.

To calibrate the Altimeter:
1. Activate Crystal
2. Press Altimeter
3. Press and hold top + button until the watch beeps and display flashes.
4. Use + and – buttons to adjust altitude
5. Press center of dial to lock in.

Tissot T-Touch : Faulty reading on Thermo, no reading on Altimeter and meteo not working either

If it's under warranty by all means pursue a fix. You might have to send it to a warranty center instead of working with your local dealer.

"Water proof" and "water resistant" are very different. About 20 years ago all watch companies stopped promising waterproof and started using the term water resistant. It gives them wiggle room in the guarantee, unfortunately. I believe T-Touch is supposed to be water resistant to only a few meters.

Meteo

1. How do you know the meteo is wrong? Are you comparing against a known good measurement device?

2. The altimeter requires adjustment every few days or whenever there's a weather change. Select the altimeter, hold the upper or lower button until you have the correct altimeter reading for where you are and it will hold for a few days.

For example, I know my home is at 100m elevation (I checked on a topo map) so I reset it to 100m when I leave the house in the morning. It varies (in my case) by over 100m in either direction, depending on the weather.

The 'meteo' function doesn't work when I press the watch face.

This seems to ba a common problem. On mine both the Meteo and Altimeter stoped working. Apparently these watches have a fault with the water proofing and should not be worn in water!
