Okay Try:

  1. If you have two graphic ports out, try both, (integrated and card) your bios may have reverted to the internal graphics chip for some reason.
  2. This is a very low risk, but a risk nonetheless, open your computer, and look for the CMOS battery, Its a little circular silver battery closely resembling a watches. All you have to do is plug the computer out, then take the battery out for about 10 seconds (doesn't matter really) and put it back in. This resets the BIOS to factory setting meaning time and date have been wiped but any other probable conflicts with the BIOS will be solved as well. I have seen pretty much broken computers fixed with that simple little trick.
Hope I helped. :)

Also forgot to mention that the the trick only wiped the BIOS, yor OS (XP, Vista) is left untouched. :)

Asus M2N / Antec SP-350

Things to try:

1. Check that the cpu fan is properly connected to the correct port marked CPU FAN.

2. Make sure the power cables are connected correctly to the motherboard.

3. Test the button switch with a multi-tester to make sure that it tests good.

4. Make sure the power switch is connected to the correct pins on the motherboard.

5. With the computer off pop the cr2032 battery out and pop it back in after a few minutes.

6. Test the power supply with either another motherboard or a power supply tester.

7. Test the motherboard with another power supply.

8. If all else fails replace the motherboard I have had a bad one from time to time even out of the box, and if you have a spare cpu you may want to test with that also. Cpu's hardly ever go bad I think I have had two go bad ever, not counting power surges and storm damage.

I have just built my first desktop PC using an ASUS M2N32-SLI Delux Wireless Edition Motherboard. Unfortunately the Motherboard came without the support CD containing drivers etc. I do have the user guide...

1. Do I in fact need the support CD?

You dont need the support cd, although you might have to update your drivers for your sound card, network card, or wireless card (IF they dont work) from the asus website http://support.asus.com/download/download.aspx?SLanguage=en-us&model=M2N32-SLI%20Deluxe

2. Can I go straight to installing the operating system and bybass the support CD?

Yes you can. Go into the BIOS and change the boot option to boot from cd first and this will boot from your windows vista cd.

3. Is this system compatible with this Motherboard?

Yes it is compatible with your motherboard.

Can i use AMD phenom 9850 in m2n-sli deluxe mother board

According to all of my available resource's the processor needs an AM2+ socket but your board has an AM2 socket. So I would contact the manufacturer and ask them just to be safe, but I am sure that the board you have has an AM2 socket for the CPU.

Hope this Helps,
RCF
