Why don't my Dell 600m USB ports work?

Hello here is the homepage:

http://www.dell.com/support/drivers/us/en/04/Product/inspiron-600m

Look for any drivers missing, in the device manager.

You will probably need, the chipset driver, to make the usb port work.

You will also need service pack 1, to support the usb function.

Good luck

Need 64 bit usb drivers for my motherboard - a Biostar G41-m7

Hi, intially when you install the chipset drivers from the website http://www.biostar.com.tw/app/en/mb/driver.php?S_ID=421 it will install the USB 2.0 drivers for you as it is already in the package. However, I now currently have the same problem as you as it seems that either a Windows Update or other software has removed this.

Usb drivers

You don't need to download the usb drivers for this motherboard (845...) if you are using later versions of operating systems unless you are using earlier versions of the same.

It might be necessary to download the drivers if you are using an ad-on us card that has no drivers and you don't have the driver compact disk that accompans this card.

However, if you want to get the driver, first you need to let me know which operating operating system you are using such as windows, mac etc. Then I can recommend the best driver location.

Good luck.

Your motherboard may not support 2.0. What MB do you have?

USB 2.0 not working

I think you need to unistall and reinstall the device or if that is USB only the driver. Check the CD included in your motherboard and try to reinstall the driver. I know there is a USB driver there.

The most probable error would be corruption of driver for long period of use and even using other software that may have corrupt some of the system software. Of course, that includes viruses.
