What sound driver for Compaq C733TU?

i lost my sounds. and i uninstalled conexant high definition smartaudio 221 because the computer showned that i need to reinstall it. i tried to find the right one but couldn't.

any idea what and where exactly i can find this driver?

- i have fixed my sound problem. try this. it might work. go to my computer icon, right click and click manage. a window will come out. click system tools > device manger > sound, video and game controller. if you see any icon with an exclamation on it, click it and click troubleshoot.

the computer will locate any problem that you have.
