If the keyboard works fine everywhere else, then the issue is specific to that website where you are trying to enter your name, and you could try to contact their customer support, if available.

Alternately, try using a different browser. I think that may be the problem, and not the keyboard itself. I would recommend Mozilla FireFox. Its free and very reliable.

Hope that helps! Should you have any further questions, please feel free to post them here.

P.S. – I would greatly appreciate a FixYa! rating if the solution I provided fixed or helped you resolve your problem.

Thank you for using FIXYA!

Cheers!

How to get the euro sign on keyboard

Some of the new PC Keyboards, especially ones that are sold in Europe, should have the Euro (€) sign readily available in one of the key. But if yours, like mine, doesn't have it, then we will need to type it using some combination keys. There are 2 ways of getting a € sign with PC keyboard that I know of:
1. Type CTRL + ALT + 4
2. Type ALT + 0128 (In Numeric Pad)

Keyboard Won't type nothing and I Just Putted New Batterys in The Keyboard, How do i make it type?

Try resetting the computer then hitting the connect button on the keyboard after the computer has started. Or unplug the keyboard and turn the comp on before plugging in the keyboard and hitting connect.

My dell laptop type wrong letter

Hi,
The standard keyboard language and widely used setting is "ENGLISH (US)"
Set the Keyboard layout to English US so that you have standard keys for symbols etc. like @ sign with SHIFT+2 etc.

The keyboard layout / Language of your PC may have been different (other than English US), so follow these steps to select the International keyboard layout:

- Go to Control Panel - Regional and Language settings
- On the Keyboards and Language tab, click Change keyboards.
- Click Add.
- Expand the language that you want. For example, English (United States).
- Expand Keyboard list, select the United States-International check box, and then click OK.
- In the Default input language list, click Language name - United States-International (where Language name is the language that you selected in step 4), and then click OK two times.
- In the Regional and Language Options dialog box, click OK.

The above steps would change the Keyboard Layout settings to 'English US' and you would be able to type @ sign with SHIFT+2

Hope it helps! Good Luck! Thanks for using Fixya!

Compaq Presario CQ50 Cannot operate to use the

I assume you are using a version of Windows. If so, you will need to go to the control panel and reset the type of keyboard you are trying to use. This will most likely require loading a new driver for the keyboard. If you got a CD with the keyboard, there should be a driver for it on the CD. If not, you may find a driver on the internet ... try a google search for the name & model of your keyboard.

Check your ease of access settings from the control panel. Make sure you don't have any keyboard and mouse settings that make for slow stroke response.

Keyboard not typing @ sign

Hold the shift key and press 2 (not in the numeric section) and you should be able to do a @ sign, somehow these two buttons have exchanged their properties.
