If i were to move to a another place that has a different region code from where i bought my psp (and other game systems) will they work in the new place?
SOURCE: how can i download games for my new psp-3004?
Nice try, but this does not apply to his or this psp. aka the 3000 series (lite). As of now there is no hack for the lite psp. The solution that chris is posting is for the phat or og psp that first came out. The 1000 series. You cannot go back to 1.50 on a slim psp. Because there was none made with 1.50fw. If you try to downgrade your psp you will brick (kill) your psp. The only way you can d/l games is through sony's psn store and there all psx (PS1 games). And you have to pay. Any more question pls feel free to ask.

m33 custom firmware will allow you to watch any region movies and play any regions of games
SOURCE: region code blocks DVD
Hi, you have to delete de region coding on your DVD, by using a
computer (either a mac or PC, or linux) then you can play it. However,
if the format is not the same (PAL&NTSC) it's gonna be impossible :
for instance, if your PS3 is NTSC, you wont be able to playback PAL
content, however, I think it might be possible to the opposite for PAL
PS3 owners, since every PAL DVD player can read NTSC (but practically,
none of NTSC player read PAL ...) Sad indeed mate.
Its a pain in
the *** willing to try converting PAL to NTSC. You better forget it
.... However, if its just a region code issue, as I said first, you can
just backup it up deleting the CSS (it's illegal... whatever) and
burning the region-unlocked movie to a blank DVD and play it ^^
SOURCE: changing region code
you can change the region code with updates but its risky cos once you upload the update for the region code it may not let you play the other region coded games

f you are experiencing issues when using a Universal Media Disc (UMD™) on the PSP system, try these troubleshooting options:
Make sure the UMD is properly inserted with the label facing the back of the PSP system. Try removing the UMD and reinserting it.
Please note, it is normal for the PSP system to make noises while it is reading from a UMD.
For PSP-1001, slide the latch to open the UMD door. For the PSP-2001 and PSP-3001, simply lift the door open.
If you have tried the troubleshooting information above, but continue to experience problems, please contact our Consumer Services department to have your PSP system serviced.
