Did you end up getting this solved? I don't want to try to find a new power cord but wonder if that is what I'll need to do.

Same thing happened to me. I got the printer from a friend. It worked fine the day I got it from her and a week later when I went to hook it up it only stays at the HP Invent logo, if that even appears! I've tried all of the HP troubleshooting steps and that hasn't worked. I contacted HP and they said it probably needs to come in for service. Since I'm out of warranty it would be more cost effective to just buy a new one!

(addition to my previous comment) I have a different PSC and swapped the power cords. My other PSC worked fine with the 2355's power cord and the 2355 had the same problem with the other power cord. I've tried many different outlets in my house and many different configurations of unplugging and pluging in from the wall and PSC and holding the "Ok" & "Cancel" buttons. But nothing is seeming to work.

My PSC2355 is also froze on the HP invent screen. I have tried holding the "left arrow" and "cancel" button during power up - DOES NOT WORK?! Has anyone been able to solve this problem???

Ok i had the same problem, and i think this was the ink rejection issue.
i used the instructions from the Hewlett-Packard help page to solve this problem.

this is a temporary fix, because now my printer wil periodically display an error message if it is left idleing or is printing, scanning. i installed the patch and i will wait to see how this helps.

P.S. most of the hardware errors have stopped.

Hi there,
You have to change the USB cable of your printer, and it will solve your problem,
On the computer side, you have to check the properties of the printer, (Ports) it should be USB001 Go to printers , Select HP D4360>Properties>Ports if you still find any problem, Remove the whole software from the computer, disconnect the printer, restart your laptop and when the windows boots it should find the printer>click cancel and run the setup again, follow the on-screen instruction you will be able to install printer properly Make sure you don't have printer installed already (HP D4360 only),
If you require more assistance, feel free to reply to this post,
Regards, BA

The printer will print out copies. But it will not print anything off the internet. Both color and black cartridges have been replaced. I even replaced the usb001 cord thinking that may be the problem. It...

Click Start
Click Control Panel
Click Printers
Click on the HP printer

Does it show as "offline" ? If so, click to go "online".

Look at the display on the printer. If it shows "offline", click to go "online".

If you still have a problem, go back to the Printer screen, and DELETE the printer.
Disconnect the USB cable from the printer.
Restart your computer.
Reconnect the USB cable, and Windows should "detect new hardware", and re-add your printer.

Magenta and cyan will not print on my hp officejet pro L7590 -- it started with a paper jam that was corrected - ever since then only the yellow and black will print on the paper -- printheads are good and...

Same thing happened to my printer hp L7590. Printed diagnostic, only black and yellow printed; diagnostic for printhead health Ky=good, MC= good. Only Hp products ever used. Uplugged, & discharged static, cleaned copper parts of printhead. Still no fix. On visual examination of floor of printhead compartment rectangular pad ( approx 1/4" by 1/2") is missing. I can only guess that during the paper jam, somehow the pad got caught up and went awol. Not sure what to do now.

HP 7410 will not boot. It powers up and the HP logo screen flashe

This was solved really well on this blog. It is some problem with the wifi board. If you disconnect it (no so hard and well explained on the blog) you will have network printing over a cable but no wireless.

''clicking'' noise started randomly- cant use printer

Hi starrz54,

Here is the HP site that talks about resolving unexpected noises (such as clicking)...

You also might try doing a full reset on the device. Here is how to do that: While switching on the scanner press # and 9 to initialize.
This should give you some good directions and if it does not resolve the issue, the next step would be to have it serviced or replaced.

All-in-one stopped working

below is the document that i want you to follow exactly in order to resolve the issue.

If the issue still not resolve, try to check the warranty status by calling HP at 1-800-474-6836. The product can still be service if it still in warranty.

thank you so much.

Printer trouble

Power cycle the printer. If problem remains, try a partial reset. You can do the partial reset as follows:
1. Unplug and replug the unit.
2. when lights flash on power up, hold down the ON/RESUME and PAGE SIZE buttons together.
3. When only the ON/RESUME button light flashes, you can release the buttons.
4. When the lights stop flashing, the reset is all done!

If problem remains, you are fully justified to ask HP to replace the unit for you (well, if you're still in warranty!). Good luck :)
