1. 1st install Your camera CD.
2. plug in your cam with your pc or laptop via usb.
3. wait for detecting cam and installing.
5. if your in msn then you see u r msn connected with cam, if your in yahoo then login in yahoo messenger, then clock preferrence , then webcam, then select your cam then press ok and use it.
the web cam should have a driver to allow it to communicate with the PC ....after the driver ( the CD from the seller ) was installed ..just plug the camera ...and let the PC find it ..and all after is proper installed and all the things are OK ...the main use for it is to make video audio calls in MSN messenger ...or Yahoo messenger Skype ...etc all you have to do is to click the camera button from the conversation window ...and the other person receives an info for your intention ...in that moment you already see yourself in a window second ...you can use it to make capture like a picture or a/v movies ...using the AM cap feature from the start menu ...( all programs)
yes it does work as a web cam.Simply load the drivers for that camera on your pc ,After your computer recognizes it by plugging the in usb cord and opening the view finder push the round little play button and wa-la you have a web cam.Go on to msn and try a video with your friends it works clear as a bell you do how ever need a mic separately i think.just use you normal head set with the mic on it.hope this helps
First off verify that your PC is connecting with your cam. (Proper drives installed)
Second, go to Tools/ Options/ Calls/ Video Settings --There is a drop down menu, make sure you have your cam selected instead of the default view. That should fix your problem, as skype is probably not trying to use your cam as a viewing source.
post back if you need further help, thank you for choosing Fixya!
Digital camera's do not normally operate as a webcam however I have come across the odd one that can do this. Cameras usually appear as a removable disk to the opperating system.
Are you sure your camera can work in this way?
