Question about Video Game Consoles & Games
Do you have videos and games stored on your HDD?
Games need a certain amount of HDD to play (not sure how much though sorry) and the easiet way to free up some space is to delete some videos, demos, pictures etc.
Go to the relevant option eg 'video' on the main menu and select the file you wish to 'sacrafice' to play your games. To do this, press the triangle button on the item and scroll to delext and press the 'X' button. Once deleted, it will not be retrievable without relaoding it.
However, ensure that the problem is definitely with the HDD being full to avoid deleting unnecessary data. Bear in mind that many external HDD work on the PS3 via USB plug in, as an option to store data instead of on your PS3 HDD. However, not all are compatable, so check first if you are buying one solely for this reason.
