Question about Audio Players & Recorders
You may need the latest version of itunes for your laptop to recognise it. Download it here
http://www.apple.com/itunes/ (its free), it will have the latest drivers for your ipod too.
Once it is loaded, plug your ipod back into the comuputer and reset it yourself from the ipod settings. Create a playlist/library of music by adding music to itunes, then sync your ipod with your library/playlist.
I hope this helps
