MyGuide GPS car adapter fuse

Does someone know what size fuse the adapter takes? The fuse reads on the barrel: E.3A 250V. Some read it as "point 3A. Or is it just 3A? Help!

I blew the fuse in my garmin nuvi 255w car charger. where can i get a new fuse

Look for online or just about any large automotive store or The Shack (RadioShack) just make sure to take your blown fuse in and verify they are the same size.

It is a 3AH 250V fuse; additional details could find in this LINK.

Hope helps (remember to rate and comment this).

265W car charger blew a fuse (while using it on my Harley Sportster!) Some say replace it with 1A some say 3A. The # is LF.T1AH250VP, and by the way, what's up with 250V !!!!!

I would ignore the 250V. The concern is the current. I would not use a fuse higher than the one shipped with the unit. According to the PN you provided it is a 1A (amp) fast blow glass fuse.

Before replacing check the power line to make sure there is no short in it. Also if the cigarette lighter end gets wet it could blow.
