Question about KitchenAid Architect® KEMS378S Electric Oven
The microwave on my Kitchenaid KEMS377GBS3 combo wall oven won't start, complaining that the microwave door is open. Everything else works. This started happening about the time power was restored after a neighborhood outage, so I suspect the microcomputer board rather than the door microswitch. Question is, how do I disassemble to check the switch and get access to the board? It's not obvious how to do this. Can this be done w/o removing the oven, and is there a repair manual I can get that shows how? Many thanks.

After using the microwave for a month, the amount of time to heat has increased significantly. For example, 1 cup water now takes 3 minutes to reach 158 deg and 4 min-40 sec to reach boiling (212 deg)
This model KEMS308SSS02 was installed in July 2008 in a new condo. It was never used until Feb. 2011 when we moved in as the first owners.
Any advice would be appreciated.
