Question about Canon PIXMA MP210 Photo All-In-One Printer
I cannot install my cannon mp 210 printer. I keep getting the message that Processing cannot be continued as the Print Spooler service has been stopped. Restart the Computer to start the Print Spooler service and then try again. I have done this a few times and also tried to close all application software. I am running out of ideas. Please advise on email@example.com
Hi, the spooler service is usually set to start automatically when the PC starts up. It sounds as if this may have been changed.
To check this right click on "My Computer" & select "Manage" (4th one down), at the bottom of the list you will see "Services & Applications" - if you click on the + next to it you will see some more options, 1 of which is services.
Click on services & the right hand pain will list all services installed on your machine, it should be in alphabetical order so work down to the "P's" & find "Print Spooler", under startup type it should say automatic if it says anything like Manual or Disabled just double click it & on the window that appears change the setting to automatic using the dropdown box, click on start to start the service & you should be flying!
