Question about Cameras
YOU DIDN'T SAY WHAT THE CAMERA WAS, BUT GENERALLY THIS REPAIR IF DIFFICULT AT BEST. THE PROBLEM BEING IN TRYING TO FIND A PART OR HAVING TO SEND THE CAMERA IN FOR REPAIR. MOST OFTEN, AS A RULE, THIS REPAIR WOULD PROBABLY COST MORE THAN JUST REPLACING THE CAMERA. IF THIS CAMERA DOESN'T HAVE A REMOVABLE LENS, IT IS PROBABLY NOT CONSUMER REPAIRABLE. MOST OF THE CAMERAS ON THE MARKET ARE PUT TOGETHER WITH THE THOUGHT THAT THEY WILL NEVER BE SERVICED OR OPENED AGAIN. THEY CONTAIN MICRO CIRCUITS AND MACHINE ASSEMBLED MICRO PARTS THAT THE AVERAGE PERSON JUST DOESN'T EVEN HAVE THE TOOLS TO EVEN WORK ON ONE. SO, SORRY, BUT YOUR BEST AND CHEAPEST BET IS TO REPLACE THE CAMERA. KNOW THIS ISN'T WHAT YOU NEEDED TO HEAR, BUT I HATE TO SEE YOU GET HIT WITH A BIG BILL AFTER SENDING IT IN FOR REPAIR.
