I have an epson printer and when I hit print, the paper slides right thru & says paper jam

  • Carefully remove the jammed photo paper. Gently pull the paper up and out of the paper feeder tray.

  • 2

Reload the paper into the tray. Stack the paper on a flat surface and then carefully slide the paper stack straight into the paper feeder tray---along and aligned with the right side of the tray. Secure the stack in place by sliding the left "edge guide" against the paper stack.

Press the "OK" button to resume printing. If you had a "Paper is jammed in the printer..." error message displayed on the control panel LCD, pressing "OK" should also clear the message.

  • 4

Pull the paper from the printer, if the status message reappears and/or the printer doesn't print, and check the paper for folds, buckling and curled edges or corners. Also check the sheets for sticking. If any of your sheets stick or have damage, remove them from your photo paper stack and replace with new sheets. Reload the paper and press "OK" to try again.

I had a cannon LBP2900 printer. IT has a problem of paper jam. It prints very well in A5 paper but hen i try to print in A4 paper, the paper gets jam. It also makes some cracking sound and i found some...

Without doing a complete disassemble, remove all covers, remove paper tray(s), remove ink cartridges (or laser cartridges...everything that is EASY to remove. Clean your rollers (may be gummed up a bit), remove all dust, dirt, grime, everything. My Canon printers are extremely sensitive to jams. As long as you keep it clean internally, you should have no problems. Take a look at this video about paper jams.

    Paper or specialty media misfeeds
These are possible solutions if paper or specialty media misfeeds or skews, or if multiple sheets feed or stick together.
Try one or more of the following:
    Check paper condition

    • Use only new, unwrinkled paper.

    Check paper loading

    • Load a smaller amount of paper into the printer.

    • Load paper with the print side facing you. (If you are not sure which side is the printable side, see the instructions that came with the paper.)

Remove each page as it is printed

    • Remove each page as it exits, and let it dry completely before stacking.

    Adjust the paper guides

    • When using media less than 8.5 inches wide

    • To rest against the edges of the paper or media, making sure it does not buckle

Printer does not feed paper, envelopes, or specialty media
These are possible solutions. Try one or more of the following:
    Check for paper jams

    • Check for and clear any paper jams. For more information, see "Paper jam in the printer" and "Paper jam in the paper support" above.

    Check media loading

    • Verify that the specialty media is loaded correctly.

    • Try loading one page, envelope, or sheet of specialty media at a time.

Check printer default and pause settings

Paper jam but i removed all the paper

Ohh, I had this same situation. What you have to do is disconnect everything. Ok, after that, connect the USB port on another port slot. Then connect the power cord. after that, your PC will say found new hardware, etc... Then go to Start, Control Panel, Add or Remove Programs all the way at the top. Then what you must do is uninstall every component of your printer. Then shut your computer down ( to allow it to process the info). Then install it again with the CD of installation. If you don't have the CD, google the name of your printer with the words installation. Then try printing another Document not the one you were trying to. After that cancel the printing. Finally, just print the document you want, and Viola!

Phaser 7700GX Color Printer prints wrinkled pages!

when this occurs the problem is most of the time with the transport roller, fuser / fixing assembly roller.question is the image still toner only and not fused to the paper.
In these areas there is offen a jammed and not removed piece of paper dislodged in the paper path or jammed in the fuser or the transfer rollers teflon coating has perished inspect the areas carefully and remove any found if the unit still is faulty (fanning of paper the fuser would be the first to be replaced are past there usable life) if so then Post a reply
