Question about Panasonic DMR-ES10 DVD Recorder
We have new Panasonic Recorder DMR-ES15. While we try to record keeping the setting LP, 2 Hrs or LP 4 Hrs and using the media DVD-R
the recorder stops after about 45 min. and show U88 error and gets restarted.
This is not every time. but more often than the good case.
Solution/help is appreciated.
U88 means the unit has detected an error while recording or playing and has entered its recovery process to restore the unit to normal operation. You could try using a DVD-RAM disk or a different make of DVD-R but, as you say the unit is new, you should probably return it to the retailer for exchamge, repair or refund according to unit age and retailer's return policy.
