SOURCE: Sony KVTS27 audio noise and pops

your problem is a stand-up printed curcuit pcb it has several mof those small surface mounted caps that always goes bad and the # on the part is SBX1981or SBX1981-51p its part # is 874213400 its about 11 to 15 bucks . Dont try to repair the part as the pcb is eaten up from the caps leaking all over it. Good Luck

My Sony tv turn on but the only thing showing is Video 4 , I don't have a remote, I tried tv and video no nothing.

If it shows 'Video-4' you have to input video signals to its video-4 input terminal. No other terminal will receive any signal. To say more, you can't select its other inputs/TV, without its remote control. No universal remote control will go. Try to get its original number remote control. Contact the authorized service center for Sony to buy a genuine one.

Unplug, replug the tv about an hour later let the tv reset itself.Go into the tv menu,go to PICTURE go down to reset, this to reset ur tv Tuner signal board back to the factory setting. Those HDMI ports 1 and 2 should work again. Not than,ur Tuner signal board is defective,or the HDMI port 1 is shorted and dead.

Tv says "no signal" when i turn on PS3

About holding the reset button, I assume you know how to use that trick, you might be missing something, though: Probably you have your TV set to the incorrect input, eg. Connect only the HDMI, set your TV to HDMI input and go with the power button trick (press (youll hear a beep), dont release until you hear a second beep) the system will autmatically display through HDMI, it can take up to 5 secons or so.

How can i use my laptop to be my screen for my ps3

You need to get a tv tuner and basically just take the cables and inputting the signals from the Red, White And Yellow cables and inputting it on the screen. Nothing is going by the processor/graphics card. Its going through TV tuner straight to screen

No signal on TV when we go to watch a movie on the DVD player

You may have to select a different input on the tv. iIs there an "input" put on the tv remote? If not, try channel down.

Playstation 3 console not displaying on tv screen

Make sure all the video cable connections are plugged firmly into the back of the PS3
The sound you are hearing indicates that you are on the right track. To get the video to work you will need to select the correct channel on your TV set. Connect the video cables (yellow) to the video INPUT of the AV port of your TV and then change to the AV channel on your TV set to view the picture.

Please let me know if this did not fix your problem
Cheers

Toshiba Model 42HM66 DLP Projection TV

I strongly doubt it's the lamp assy since you can actually see the blue screen. If the lamp failed, you would not see anything on the screen. This blue screen indicates to me that either the tuner is no longer decoding the signal, in improper input has been selected (ie: input 1 is selected while actual signal is on composite 1), or something of that nature. If you are getting audio then the input is selected properly but the video decoder has failed.

If your cable signal is going through a VCR or DVD, disconnect it from there and go directly to the TV (ie: bypass the VCR/DVD). If your picture comes back, there's some kind of problem with your VCR/DVD player.

If you have multiple inputs, try connecting an input signal to another input (ie: video 1, or aux from a dvd player) and see if you get a picture there. If you do get a picture, the whatever input you're currently using has malfunctioned.
