Question about Sony Mavica MVC-FD73 Digital Camera
I use(d) a Mavica FD73 for five years. I sell antique jewelry and silver online, and therefore need a camera with an exceptional macro mode. The FD73 provided me with superb close-up shots of the pieces I was photographing. However, two days ago I was photographing when the shutter button apparently just stopped working. Everything else on the camera works: playback mode, picture mode, the buttons all work. It's just that when I press the shutter, nothing occurs (i.e., the flash, if turned on, does not work; the green dot on the LCD does not appear; and of course, no picture is taken). Has anybody ever experienced this before, and if so, is it anything I can fix without paying ~200.00 to send it to Sony and have it fixed? (I can buy a replacement on eBay for that much, so I do not want to do that).
Have you repair it ? I Solve the very same problem with my FD-75 just yesterday !
