My soyo monitor has power, but goes black after a few seconds. if i turn it off and back on it does the same thing
Resolder the board see if there is a crack solder on the pcv board resolder it

Thank you for answering those questions. That usually indicates it has a bad power inverter. From what i can tell, that monitor is a few years old. You can attempt to find an inverter online to replace it yourself (usually about $50 if you can find one) since its no longer covered under warranty, or put that money into getting a new monitor.
