When I turn on the TV it says "Please wait....warming up" and apparently it never warms up enough. Because, it never displays a picture. It has a thick green horizontal band going across the screen with a black background. No sound or antyhing. Any help???????PLEASE????

The old video card has seen better days, methinks. All those symptoms lead one to conclude it needs a 'substitute' to enter the field, or call a long TV time out(too much pro and super bowl isms, eh?)..
A repair is possible assuming a tube can be found. I would google the model number with "tube " after the model, somebody somewhere will have one. If a tube is still available it is a three man job to change it! The tube is very heavy.
