My coby 705 is very fast to low battery what even if it is fully charge, what should i do?

If the MP3 player battery is more than 3 - 4 years old then the battery could be worn out.Rechargeable batteries have a finite number of charge and discharge cycles andwill lose their charge capacity over time, i.e. won't charge to 100% andgradually the charge reduces until the battery won't charge up at all. OR Thebattery shows a 100% charge but when the adapter is disconnected the batterydrops off to zero capacity in a very short time. If the battery drops to anunacceptable charge level then the battery needs to be replaced.

It will not charge or keep a charge.

I have a question, how do you know that it can't keep a charge if it doesn't charge? Anyway, it's either a problem with your battery or the power cable. If your phone seems to be charging when you plug it in, then you probably need a new battery. If it seems like your battery isn't even charging when you plug it in, then it's most likely a problem with your power cable and you'll probably need to buy another.

Under a full charge the mp3 shows only 1/2 charge3d

I have over 10 years experience in electronic tech support.

How long is the charge lasting? If you're only getting half of the battery life you use to get, then the unit needs to be repaired. I can do more research into your model, but normally there isn't a way to change the battery charge display. Please let me know if you're still getting full battery life even though the display is only showing half.

I'll use the information you provide to assist you further. I look forward to hearing from you.

How do you charge a 8gb MP3 player???

You should have received a a cell phone like charger with your player or most likely it will charge through the same USB cable that you used to transfer your songs from your computer. If you have the USB cable plug it into your computer. There should be some kind of display bar that shows the player is being charged. I hope I have been helpful

Charging problem

You must leave it connected and after charging you will see a message that says charge is full, usually leave it all night, of course it won't take that long, but stop looking at it and let it go.

Charging the mp3 clip

I work for Coby technical support. Our customer service phone number is 1-800-727-3592.

Becuase the unit doesn't have a screen, there's no outward indication the unit is charging. Anytime you plug it into your USB port, the unit automatically begins charging.

If you feel this solution doesn't deserve a good rating, please let me know why so that I may better assist you. If there is anything more I can do to help, I will!

When you connect the unit to the USB port on your computer, it will automatically begin charging. There are also universal wall chargers that can be purchased from Radio Shack.

Coby MP-C7095 Won't turn on

On my Colby player there is a small reset hole in the back. Mine has sometimes just stopped playing and shuts off. If you use a small wire (paperclip works well) push it in and reset it.
