have a canon mx330 fax print and scan all in one printer
To scan without ink just hold the STOP BUTTON in after the ink message comes up it should eventually take you to the main menu then you can hit the scan button.

SOURCE: error message UO51

Are you using official Cannon cartridges or "ink refill" cartridges? Did you reset your ink levels in the software?

SOURCE: canon mp 145 scan not working ink catridge

Hi, The scanning unit is independent from printing unit. You can scan even with empty ink cartridges. At sametime, if you wanna copy documents, you need both scanning and copying units to work. Try reinstalling the Driver from the provided drive CD.

SOURCE: Canon MX330 - trying to use ADF. No doc inside on

Canon Pixma MX330, ADF error, Code : 2,103,0
Here's what I found. There were no stuck gears or pieces of plastic caught anywhere.
The ****** can still feed paper, except for (consistently) the last page -->error/stuck.
1) In order to CLEAR THE ERROR you need to do two things
a) & b):
a) Press OK, WITH THE HOOD OPEN, with a piece of paper loaded in the ADF, being careful to grab the paper manually as it comes out of the bottom of the hood.
b) Windex the strip of glass surface which sits under the ADF next to the platen. This needs to be done with attention to minute detail, and a bright LED flashlight; since ink smudges off of documents and collects on the glass with alarming frequency. The machine may think these smudges are caught/jammed paper.
2) In order to SCAN a stack of paper, add one blank sheet to the bottom of your document. This page will be the one that
fails to clear the ADF, generates an error, and must be manually cleared before the next job.
The rest of your pages will have already scanned.

Repeat Every Time You Use it

When i try to scan a document i get a message telling me to place the doc in a certain way.

I'm not familiar with this type op multifunctional, but from what I know is that the software might suspect a certain size of document. When the document you need to scan is smaller or somehow in another size, it is not recognizing the document. See if there is an option in the software for custom document sizes.

Mp495 scan without cartridge

It's a funny thing but, after trying everything above, I just pressed the SCAN button on the printer, instead of trying to do it from a program in the computer. It scanned the document and launched MP Navigator!

MX330 has error code 5B00, what does this mean?

Hello and Welcome to FixYa!

According to Canon's documentation, Error B200 is simply listed as a printer error (not very descriptive). It is likely a hardware fault on a board, a physical hardware malfunction.

To solve it:
Turn off the machine, and unplug the power cord of the machine from the power supply. Again connect it and turn on.
If the problem is not resolved,
then best option is to take it back where you purchased it or contact Canon service center about the error code or
To get support by Canon on phone, then call at 1-800-OK-CANON (1-800-652-2666)
They will surely solve it.

I hope this solution helps you

Cant get my canon mx330 printer to work

Multifunction devices usually require two separate inks to acquire functionalities. For example, an empty ink cartridge especially the color ink may still produce copies without multi ink features. However, any attempts to dismaunt the ink cartridges would require restorations from the computer settings. First, inspect the printer for empty accessories that require replacements. After acquiring and replacing ink cartridges makes way for the next processes. Second, connecting the printer that has been restablished would produce display results requesting printer copy allignments. Attempt to print a document to produce the results for alligments. Canon PIXMA MX330 multifunction printer. I get a lot of faxes. Is there a way to save ink & paper by having all faxes come in without printing them & just putting them to memory & review them...

unfortunatly not!The m/c will print each and every fax!I can suggest getting a fax to email nr and recieve the faxes on your pc and then printing what u need!Memory does keep about 258 pages depending on the coverage on the pages!

Error message code 2,140,0

I had a similar problem (error Code:2,140,2) in Canon PIXMA MP250 all-in-one, and it was solved when I replaced both ink cartridges which were in low ink (almost without ink). I know an scanner problem is not supposed to be in relation with ink or printer problems, but that's the way I've fixed it. Good luck!
