Get your music from your library, and just plug your psp in via usb or card reader...
then just drag your music to J:\MUSIC J being your drive volume
if your really into classifying, you can also put folders such as J:\MUSIC\Viva La Vida , just make sure that there are no more directories inside, they wont be accepted

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

How to add music onto my psp

Depends on what you mean by adding music. If you want to just add music files then you can just get mini USB to USB cord and connect to your computer. You'll need to put your psp into USB mode first though. Once connected to your computer you can just drag and drop your files into your psp memory card. Thier should be a music file already created in the memory card. As for getting music from a provider like spotify then I'm sorry to say but that's not possible. You could try the radio app on the psp. I'm not sure if it is still working but it doesn't hurt to try.

HOW TO ADD MUSIC TO PSP

Adding music is rather simple. First, you have to connect your PSP to your PC via a USB Cable. Once it's plugged in, click on USB Connection on the PSP Menu. Your computer will recognize your PSP and ask what you want to do with it.

Open up your PSP folder and open the folder called "MUSIC". Open the folder on your computer that has the music you want to add. Click and drag the files over to the PSP. Once the transfer is complete, disconnect your PSP and goto the Music tab on your menu and select "Memory Stick''. All the music you uploaded should be accessible.

I have downloaded music and videos to my duo memory card and when i put it in my psp nothing shows up i used medis go and everything HELP plz

First you need to specify if you have custom firmware. Either way sony has many safeguards to prevent users from adding their own content. As for music you can add it to the psp via the duo card on <psp drive>/psp/music. Video must be in mpeg format and like the music it must be in <psp drive>/psp/video. if you are using a psp 2000 or earlier you can easally use custom firmware provided at QJ.net

Yes there is a way. What you will need is a PC, Some form of Memory stick Duo card Reader, And a PSP Compatible Memory stick Duo/Pro Duo.

If you havent already used the memory stick inside the PSP it will not have the correct Formatted file System for use in the PSP. but you can create the file system using your computer.

heres how to do it ! :

1) plug your Memory stick Duo/Pro Duo into the card reader on your computer.
2) open my computer, locate the Memory stick usually found under the "devices with removable storage" area.
3) once inside the memory stick, create 2 seperate folders. One called "PSP" and the other one called "MP_ROOT".
4) Navigate into the "PSP" Folder and create 3 Folders, "MUSIC", "PICTURE" & "VIDEO"
5) Copy & Paste the Necessary files into each Subsequent Sub-Folder within the "PSP" Folder.

Note : The PSP Can only handle Certain File types for Pictures, Music, And Video. i would suggest Navigating to http://psp.about.com/od/hardwarefirmware/p/compformat.htm before you transfer your files to ensure that you are adding files which are Viewable/Readable by The PSP's software.

Hope this helps !?
