Triple Reset for Philips’ GoGear:

Disconnect the Go Gear from computer. Press the reset pinhole until the player turns off. Hold in the volume + button, and reconnect the player to the computer while holding the volume + button in. Keep holding the volume + button for an additional 5-50 seconds. Windows should eventually go into recovery mode and revive the player- it will pop up a window that says Found New Hardware Wizard. If this pop-up does not appear, reset the player again WHILE connected to the computer. Open the Philips Device Manager, and go to Repair Tab. Reset the player one more time while connected to computer. Follow the repair instructions.

After repair is complete, upgrade the firmware for this player. Will erase all the songs, but you should be good to go again.

I just bought sd card for my ilo but when I try to access it wont let me store any music. How do I format it and prep it for access?

You need to format all new cards. Does your Mp3 player show up as a drive when you hook it up to your computer if so open that drive right click on format use FAT32 for windows os. If your Mp3 player does not show up as a drive use the SD slot on your computer to format. Choose the SD card slot drive right click on the drive choose farmat... use FAT32 for windows os. and you should be off and downloading great tunes... Good luck hope that helped.

Usb photos not showing in the frame

if there is a cable to connect the frame to the comp put the carf in the frame and hook up the frame install picts through the frame. that is how most of them do it. it converts the pic to a different format easier for it to read. it wont just read drag and drop jpg files. it also formats the card to it own specs.

I have a 300 gb Seagate HD/back up. Ihave all of the connections as previously set up but the HD is not showing up and I am unable to access it

if it a fresh new hard drive, then you will need to partition it and format it before you can access it. Does it show up in bios? If it does then you know that it is hooked up correctly. Might just need to partition it and format it. If this dont help, then let me know what kinda of OS you are using.

My mp3 wont play

You have to format your mp3 player, this is the only way that this can be resolved. The device manager should have come on a cd, u simply use this and restore factory settings, it is annoying yes, but unfortunately it is the only way for you to have ur mp3 player back
